Due to the latest scientific research in this area which describes long-term results of stem cell transplantation for MS Patients and experience of our patients we offer also the CCSVI Liberation treatment enhanced with adult autologous stem cells.
With this enhanced protocol, liberation angioplasty will be complemented with adult autologous stem cell therapy. After liberation angioplasty improves the blood flow through the stenotic (narrowed) veins, the introduction of adult autologous stem cells offers the potential to regenerate the damaged areas inside the brain and/or spinal cord and to decrease inflammation throughout the body.
“As you saw the day after the intervention, Jacques was feeling much better. It's been almost 1 month since Jacques had the intervention. He has never
felt better. He doesn't have any symptoms anymore. Everything is back to
normal…” Lucie Godbout and Jacques Champagne, Canada
Many patients have reported extremely swift, marked improvements following this treatment protocol.
The steps for this protocol are described below.
The treatment with adult autologous stem cells does not affect the duration of the CCSVI treatment and can be done at the same day.
Bone marrow is collected from the patient's iliac crest (hip bone) using thin-needle mini-puncture under local anesthesia. Although some pain is felt when the needle is inserted, most patients do not find the bone marrow collection procedure particularly painful. The entire procedure normally takes about 20-30 minutes.
The stem cells are processed from the bone marrow in a state-of-the-art, CE approved Point-of-Care technique. This state-of-the-art technique allowed having your stem cells available within a short period of time (usually less than one hour), at the same point where your bone marrow has been taken and during the same procedure, under sterile condition.
The most significant is also that the number of stem cells for your treatment is much higher than with any other methods, without manipulating the stem cells. It is possible to achieve more than
500 to 700 x 106, which is much higher as with other methods.
Also the fact that the cells are so fresh makes the vitality of our cells in the range of > 90%.
These cells have the potential to transform into multiple types of cells and are capable of regenerating or repairing damaged tissue.
X-ray scanning is used to guide a balloon-tipped catheter into the affected jugular vein(s). Once the catheter reaches the target area, the balloon tip expands to widen the stenotic area. This procedure takes about 60-90 minutes. At the same time with help of special catheter the stem cells will be injected. Afterwards, the patient will spend 2 or 3 hours in the recovery room to ensure that the entry site is not bleeding.
The costs for CCSVI Treatment enhanced with adult autologous stem cells
